I lost my loved one on new years eve I think she had a heart attack I was screaming at her to not leave me and trying to give her CPR it was so hard.  She was a 9 1/2 yr old Bulldog that I expected to have more wonderful memories of.  There were no signs she was happy and seemed healthy its so hard to cope..I had to take down her pictures cuz I just cry.  I'm getting her creamated and not sure if I'm ready to get the ashes (my friend is doing all the work)..  Angry

I am so sorry to hear about your loss.  It is hard to lose a part of your family like that.  It is the 4th day since I had to let my sweet baby boy oreo go, he was only 10.  I rescued him when he was a sick kitten and bottle raised him.  He was just so sick in the end (cancer), I couldn't bare to see him so sad and sick anymore.  I'm not sure which is harder making the decision to let them go or them going without a warning.  Either way it's horribly painful.  I just wanted to say I am truely sorry for your loss.

Things have gotten better over time.  My other bullie misses her so much they were very close, we rescued another bulldog but my female doesn't seem to care for him I think she is still grieving.  I kiss her box with the ashes in it and tell her I lover her and miss her everyday.  I'm sorry to hear about losing your loved one.  again its never easy..[/img]
