My dog was brutally attacked

My 4 year old Pomeranian was brutally attacked in his own yard..he fought for 6 days, and he wasn't in pain, he just wanted to come home, but he had a ripped up back and they had to make sure it was going to heal so he had to stay there, his heart was broken, they did surgery on him 1/13 and he was supposed to wake up, but he didn't, he sailed off into Heaven..but he took our hearts with him. It's just unfair that I see his scared little face everywhere, that my kids last memory of him home was being bitten and that he isn't here with us any more...I am heartbroken, he was the best dog ever..and I mean that, he was like a little person, he knew so much, he cried if I itried to take him to be groomed,he would run to his crate if I picked up my purse, he was so smart.. he just wanted to be with me..and I couldn't bring him home..
