We rescued our pug Schultze in August 2003 - his foster mom was fostering about 6 other pugs. While they went off to check out our other pug, Rosie, Schultze came over to me and jumped up on my leg. I remember saying that I hoped this was the one - because I had just been adopted!! He was the sweetest boy in the world and he chose me.

We had to let him go on Friday, May 7, 2010. He was 10 years old. We new he wasn't aging well, which I attributed to the abuse he had to put up with when he was a puppy - nearly starved to death. I just didn't think it would be quite this soon. We never do, do we?

I didn't want to let him go - but I couldn't look into that sweet face and see the pain he was in just get worse. He didn't understand, but never complained. I always got a kiss, or a tail wag.
We will always love you Schultze, and miss you so much.

I know you are completely fine now playing in the meadow by the Rainbow Bridge. We love you Sweet Baby Boy. Now you are our Angel in Heaven.
